Welcome from Brompton and Hans Town Neighbourhood Policing Team

As the Ward Sergeant for the Brompton and Hans Town Neighbourhood Policing Team, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all new members to Neighbourhood Alert.

Thank you to everyone who has signed up to our new messaging platform, Met Engage, which is a two-way engagement tool that allows Neighbourhood officers and PCSOs to send focused communications to specific local areas or community interest groups and share essential updates with you all. This will include invitations to events, community surveys, crime prevention advice, updates on local crime and what the team have been working on in the area.

The Met has now joined 34 other police forces across the UK who already use the Neighbourhood Alert platform providing you updates based on individual or local needs.

As a resident you will be able to send your local policing team direct messages. If you have any queries, concerns or information that may be useful to us, all of this can be sent to the Brompton and Hans Town Neighbourhood Policing Team via Met Engage.

Please note that Met Engage is not a crime reporting service and is not monitored 24/7. Whilst it is a great platform for keeping in touch with your local officers, to report a crime or get help during an emergency you must call 999 or 101.

I would encourage you all to log into your Met Engage accounts and visit the ‘Around me’ page. This is where you will find names and direct contact links for your local officers, as well as a short survey to have your say on issues in your local area - simply click on the link in the grey box at the bottom of the page.
